This month, Green Tape attended two different events within the Denver Bioscience community.
On February 13th, we had the pleasure of participating in the Rockies Venture Club Life Science Night. This event was a great opportunity for entrepreneurs and investors alike to learn about startup and investment strategies within the Life Science industry. The event was sponsored by the Polsinelli Law Group and featured a presentation by Wade Johnson on the best practices for Intellectual Property (IP) patent law. Learn more about Wade and his firm by visiting www.polsinelli.com. Following the networking and presentation portion of the night, several companies seeking funding had the chance to pitch their enterprise and technologies to the audience. Find out more about the companies that participated at www.rockiesventureclub.org.
Green Tape also attended the third annual Life Sciences Industry Showcase – Connecting Academia & Industry, co-sponsored by Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) and Academia Industry Alliance. The showcase was a networking event featuring Colorado biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostic companies connecting to undergraduate, master’s, doctorate, postdocs, research associates, instructors, and post graduate students from Colorado universities. At this event we invited guests to chat with us about how we can help start a business or grow their business’ government R&D funding. This event was beneficial to Green Tape because we are currently collecting PhD and R&D entrepreneurs resumes for opportunities requiring scientific talent. If you are interested in submitting your resume, please send an email with your resume to email@example.com.
